Today I met an Ethiopian asylum seeker with persistent loin pain unresponsive to pain killers, nocturia, urgency and microscopic haematuria. He claimed to be imprisoned for political reasons and during which he was tortured (among the 'punishments' were being kicked in the balls and left lumbar region. Since then, these symptoms occur.
